Based out of Los Angeles California, SKATEKATZ is a T-Shirt company that specializes in custom skating designs and distribution. However, we do all kinds of designs, from Family Reunions, Church Picnics and Special Evens to custom Logos and Characters!
SKATEKATZ is a company that is a vital part of the skating community. While primarily an online and design company, we Vend and Promote at SKATEJAMS across the nation and have booths set up through various Sister and Brother Rinks and establishments. We also sale and feature our products out of local rinks on the west coast primarily at our home rink World on Wheels located in Los Angeles, CA; 4645 ½ Venice Blvd.; 323 9333-5170. Generally, we sale our latest fashions and products at WOW during the Adult Sessions on Thursdays a couple nights per month from 6:00PM to 1:00AM.
SKATEKATZ prides itself on its efforts to promote skating so that our people can enjoy themselves, fellowship, exercise and be entertained in a safe, fun filled and pleasant environment.
ABOUT SKATEKATZ (The People)
SKATEKATZ is primarily made up of two individuals Muffy (Business Consultant) who is a Singer/Song Writer/Entertainer and Fashion Designer by profession and Leonard (Graphic Artist) who works in IT Operations for a living. They are the driving force behind SKATEKATZ. They both love to Roll and meet in the rink as members of the Rolling 20’s Skate and Social Club, CA.
MISSION
Our Mission is: “WE ARE YOU!” We stress the importance of UNITY and realize that we are nothing without people working together, sharing and learning from one another.
We are ambassadors of the Skate Movement in efforts to protect it, embrace and to support it. We promote the sport and art of “Roller Skating” in a positive way while organizing and controlling our destiny in this phenomenon that is spreading World Wide. We strive to be a model example of an African-American owned and operated business that is respected for its contributions to the Skate community by building on traditions and past generations of skaters.
In addition, we strive to create products of high quality Skate-wear that is fun, stylish, innovative and creative for every type of Skater, the young, the old, the advanced and the beginner. We want to cater to Roller Skaters and also other facets of skating across the nations such as Hockey, Skate-Boarding / Snow-Boarding and Motorcycles in efforts to stimulate an interest in people who skate, used to skate and want to learn how to skate. We believe Skating to be therapeutic relieving stress and tension. Skating is also a great aide to good health and exercise when done on a regular basis.
